Application Guidelines

As a matter of policy, the Fund will only make grants to private, publicly supported, not-for-profit, tax-exempt organizations within the meaning of the Internal Revenue Code.

Grant applications will be considered where:

  1. Outside funding (including governmental) is not available;
  2. The project will be largely funded by the grant unless the grant request covers a discreet component of a larger project; and,
  3. Funds will be used for capital projects including equipment or endowments; or
  4. Funds will be used for specific programs that fit within the areas of interest.

Please note: Applications for direct salary support will not be accepted.

The Fund will generally accept applications from all states with an emphasis on applicants located in the states of Florida, Massachusetts and New York.

All grant awards are made on the condition that the entirety of the funds advanced shall be utilized in direct furtherance of the project and that no portion thereof shall be appropriated by the Grantee as an administrative or processing fee, for overseeing the project or for its general overhead.

The application must be completed and sent with all supporting documents to the Fund in hard copy. The Fund's application form must be used and may be downloaded or requested in writing to the Fund's mailing address.
